History of ProScript
In the early 1980′s, the ProScript Pharmacy System was developed in order to handle prescription processing, claim submission, and inventory problems.
Later, in the 1990’s, ProScript merged with the Frank Knowles Agency to become LexiCom Computer Systems, LLC. The merger with Frank Knowles Agency allowed us to provide pharmacy solutions that were supported by one company.
Since then, the ProScript Pharmacy System has continued to evolve to meet the ever changing demands of the pharmacy environment. From electronic claims to point of sale systems, as well as signature capture to e-prescriptions, LexiCom strives for excellence.
As the pharmacy environment applies changes to regulations, we work hard to make sure our software continues to adhere to what you need. When we update the software, we provide release notes to our customers, as well as continued software and tech support to help you understand the changes. However, our changes typically are not drastic and are not difficult to adjust to. We make changes to the software in order to make life at the pharmacy easier, not harder.
LexiCom Computer Systems, LLC continues to grow and evolve with each new advancement in computer technology. We provide computer systems as well as support throughout Alabama and all adjoining states (MS, TN, GA, FL, LA).
